Digital Literacy

At DEED Trust, we believe that digital literacy is key to creating new opportunities and empowering communities. With technology becoming a crucial part of everyday life, we aim to ensure that individuals from all backgrounds have access to the skills they need to succeed in the digital world.

National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM)

DEED Trust is proud to be an implementation partner for the NASSCOM Foundation (NF) in digital literacy and technology programs. Through this collaboration, we established NDLM centers in Villiyanur, Pondicherry and Kovur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Through these centers, we have trained over 4,700 candidates under the National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM), helping people from underserved communities gain essential digital skills.

Google Career Certificate Scholarship Program

After the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our programs to include both offline and online training. In partnership with NASSCOM Foundation, we conducted the Google Career Certificate Scholarship Program in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in collaboration with local colleges.

Through this program, students were trained in Data Analytics, IT Support, IT Automation, Project Management, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, and UX Design. Upon completion, they earned a Google international professional certificate, which opens up new career opportunities in the tech industry.

Skilling Digitally Xcellent Communities

In partnership with NASSCOM Foundation and DXC Technology, DEED Trust launched the Skilling Digitally Xcellent Communities project. This initiative aimed to create awareness about emerging technologies and improve digital skills across India.

We conducted orientation programs for over 25,000 students and successfully enrolled 21,709 students from 32 colleges. This program was certified by AICTE and Future Skills Prime, supported by MeitY – NASSCOM Digital Skilling Initiative.

PMKVY Government Scheme

DEED Trust is now also offering courses under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), a government initiative aimed at providing skill training to youth across the country. Under this scheme, we conduct various short-term skill development courses that empower individuals to enhance their employability and build better livelihoods.
